Position : Debriefing / Systems/ Scheduler ( Manager)
Reports to: Transport Manager
• The optimal vehicle scheduling (Scheduling system)• Assists elsewhere when necessary
• Scheduling according to optimal driver and vehicle usage.• Scheduling routes for special requests
• Recommendations relating to delivery changes. • Monitoring and controlling excessive driver usage and overtime
• Identification and follow up on all driving deviations as per tracking system.
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
STANDARD OF EDUCATION: The minimum requirement is grade 12. A tertiary qualification/studying towards same,
with logistics/ commercial/ management subjects will be an advantage.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: A successful track record in administration/operations management in an operational/distribution environment is essential. This responsibility should include systems management and involvement with the expense management process.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Good all round computer skills and systems/admin
experience. Good interpersonal skills at management and staff level.
Must have a valid Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
